Q:  Have the Pilot fans gotten over last year’s heart breaking 7-game wildcard series loss?  Do they still openly despise Carlos Delgado?


A:  It was tough… Carlos had a great series and I will take care of him the next time we play.


Q:  Seattle returns to core of last year’s 91-win team, what added ingredients are needed to gain another playoff berth this season?


A:  It is no secret we need some pitching.


Q:  At #12, would SPL management be more inclined to draft the best player available or draft a player to meet a positional need?


A:  The draft has a ton of talent and we are keeping our options open.


Q:  What steps are your trainers taking to ensure King Felix (last year’s 1st round selection) have a long and successful career in the Pacific Northwest?  Are you concerned that he will flee Seattle for a larger market like so many of the team’s stars from the 90s (Griffey, Jr., Big Unit, A-Rod)?


A: I am taking Spanish lessons… Si.


Q:  When looking ahead five years, what player on your team gives you the most cause for optimism?


A: Joe Mauer is a stud
